The Mayor confronts his fears!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and confronting fears lovers….

Yesterday I was doing a bit of sprucing up of the ole place in anticipation of my sister and her son coming in from Atlanta. Much to Chaps chagrin I had to bring out the yellow monster….

He runs from it but sometimes I think he likes peaking around the corner at the monster.

Then the door bell rang????

Chaps went flying past the yellow monster confronting his fears ears flying!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH…………

Look what we received!

One of the most beautiful potted plants we have ever seen! It came with this card attached. I was so touched, beyond belief….

What a big beautiful plant! I’m so glad you liked it.

Jethro doesn’t like the vacuum cleaner monster either. Everybody here gets up and goes outside when the vacuum is going.

Enjoy the slide show and your family tonite Cat! It’ll be a day to remember. And give us your recipe for that ham stew! Unless it’s a family secret.

That is a beautiful plant. The card is super.
Enjoy the walk down memory lane. Its always so much fun and it can help heal the pain. Give your Mom and the kids our best.
Sir Henri and Princess Riley don’t like our big scarey vac. either. They also run when I use my blow dryer.:)

Nell (the sussex spaniel) runs beside the vacuum and barks at it. Sophie (the basset) runs and hides if I just wheel it through the house without it plugged in. I call her my “basset-chicken”. Nell is definitely the brave one. Sophie panics if her bed’s in the wrong place.

The plant is beautiful. So glad it helped the Mayor with his fear.

We love you all. (I agree with Cindy … how about sharing the recipe for “ham stew”?)

The plant is really beautiful but what do Emma and Chaps think of it. I wouldn’t want it to be in there way.
