Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Emma’s birthday pictures lovers!
Well, every year we do a photo shoot of Emma under the cherry tree in the month of her birth, APRIL! I thought I would share Take 1!
Not so good! She was not having none of it! Probably because Chaps was crying the entire time from the ladies room, the small area off of the sun room. Grandpa named it the ladies room.
We still have time for the perfect shot. Her birthday is not until the 21st! We tried so hard today!
But I did get this one!
But the goal is to get her with the cherry tree in full bloom. Howl ever, this is a pretty good spring time shot!

Maybe this is a good opportunity to practice merging two photos in Photoshop if you can’t get
the tree and Emma together.
Emma is so cute it does not matter if the cherry tree is in the picture or not. You still have plenty of time to get the perfect shot. Thanks for stopping by today – Bumper and Abby ran in to get their dinner when you left. I guess your kids were waiting for their dinner when you got home. Happy early birthday to Emma – Abby will be 8 on April 29. This is a hounds birthday month!

That is a beautiful picture. Emma’s fur looks so very soft. I’m sure you’ll get the perfect picture soon. You have plenty of time.
Jethro is the only one that I know of his birthday. I do know that Rugs was born some time in June of 1999 and we celebrate Oz and Harriet’s day on May 5th cuz that’s their gotcha day. We think they are 8 or 9 years old but not sure.
Slinky celebrates her “Gotcha Day” which is April 11th.
Emma cannot take a bad photo, she is too beautiful; but, I especially like the photo of her sticking her nose between the fence pickets.

Maybe you can get a profile shot of Emma this year. She doesn’t have a bad side! So either one would do! Maybe she is waiting for you to put the perfect pink ribbon or collar on her so she can match the tree! You are doing so much better than me with the photography. I still haven’t got my digital camera figured out.

Tell me Cathy, does Chaps ever get jealous or envious of Emma; or visa versa?
No, they are equally loved. Chaps being left out is rare. It is a bit harder now that Grandpa is gone. He always made sure that if we had to take one to the vet or to a story time he was there to totally fixate on the other. We miss Grandpa so much.
