Oh look at the new park we found!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and new Park Lovers… Grandma, Chaps, Emma and I found a new park today. It is about 30 minutes from our home.
Everything is so green due to all of the rain.
I tried to get the massive beauty of the background in this picture! Of course I wanted the massive beauty of Chaps in the foreground! Howl the shadows beckoned us.
It was like we were the only ones, us and the geese flying in. Just breath taking!
30 minutes to heaven, right outside our door!

What park is this? I do not see anything familiar in the picture but it looks like a nice place to visit.
Hey Judy – It is AJ Jolly out on 27. It took us about 30 minutes to get there. It is so cool. I was thinking howl nice it would be to get a huge basset hound get together. There is camping all around the lake. We could have so much fun! We could all waddle through the park! I had so much fun thinking about it last night. I really want to try and do that some day!

Sounds like a great idea – I thought it might be that park but did not realize it was 30 minutes away. I have bad memories of that beautiful lake – a dear friend of my brother drowned in it the day before their high school graduation in 1971. Bumper and Abby would love to waddle through the park anytime.
