Frank the Fantastic update…….
Howllo Fellow Basset Hounds and needing a Frank update lovers:
Well, the pound opened this morning at 10:00 and I just got off the phone with one of the workers.
Frankie poo is still hunkering down at the pound. So, they are letting him stay one more day.
Grandma and I will go get him tomorrow and take him to my vet for a checkup and boarding.
He will be safe and still looking for a home! So keep networking residents. We have a homeless resident that needs our help!
LOOK AT THAT FACE…….
Can you imagine Frankie on his very own couch?
More about the homeless resident later….Love, Cat, Chaps, Emma and Frank the Fantastic.
Well, I know rescues hate this but maybe you can advertise him in Craigs list or something like that? Just advertise that you will do a home visit and make sure that he’s a good fit. Maybe try to recoup the vet costs? I know, this is probably a bad idea but when your desperate…
Man this is really bothering me. First off that face just makes me hurt. Second he reminds me of Beau. Third I hate that I can’t help out more then I can. I contacted so many KY folks I know and I’m waiting to hear back from them. This is really driving me crazy. I feel so sad for Frank 🙁
Man wish there was something we could do here in Wisconsin. Ihave it posted on Facebook and if I could I would come and take him. Not sure how my two would love me after that:( Can we do a fund raiser like we did for Trooper? Got to be something, I feel bummed that such a beautiful hound was treated so poorly. Thank God for folks like you Cat, Boyd and Marilyn hmmm wonder if cloning would work with you folks. lola we need more like you:)
Frank, you are one handsome houndie. I promise, we will all pull together and find a good home for you. Bassethoundtown ROCKS !!
He would look bassetabulous on any couch!
Cat, you are a super hero for taking care of this boy! He’s so cute. Let us know if you do a fundraising page for his vet bills and boarding!
Trisha – It takes a town to rescue a hound! I will certainly let all the residents know about his bills. I am really excited to get him out of the pound.
Grandma and I will leave about the time they open at 10am.
It will really be FUN!
You can count on us to donate if you do a fundraiser, and I know that I can get Fred and Annie’s Grandma to chip in too…let us know when you start collecting!!
Thank you Rose –
I will certainly keep everyone posted. So far, we don’t have a home for our boy. I guess there is a slight (very slight) chance he got adopted yesterday. Howl ever, this is the dumping season. While I was down at the pound the other day I saw about three people making what I call the walk of shame. Dropping pets off. Owner relinquish.
With an owner like that who needs enemies?
