Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Frank cannot thank you enough lovers. I am all about full disclosure and I insist on posting our homeless hound’s bills so all of the town can see where their money and efforts go. Some of the residents donate and others network. All together we get the hounds we agree upon out of a Kentucky POUND!
Here is the first bill for Frankie after I picked him up from the pound and took him to my vet.
Here is a jpeg of the full bill and then I will do a closer up jpeg.
Here is the closer up jpeg of his “well pet” check on that same day. It is probably easier to look at but I wanted to photograph the entire bill in the first picture.
Then here is the second bill for his neuter and boarding plus various other things that Frank needed.

So, the total for our Frank is 446.77. This amount is basically right in line with the other homeless hounds we have agreed to pull. We all do this together!
This is what the town has raised so far! We should all be very proud. Please keep in mind that others networked, transported and helped with well wishes. We all do what we can when we can.

Frankie is so proud. This is just fantastic. Look howl homeless residents in our town can get the best of care. We should all be so proud. Can you imagine what 450 dollars can do? Just stunning!

Cat, your vet is well within a reasonable price. Frankie got ALL tested out. This is also saving the rescue a LOT of money.
Ok, all we have left is $50 more. If 10 people give $5 that’ll have it covered!
Does anyone else out there in Basset Hound Town have a little spare change for Frankie?
If we come up a little over, I can promise you that Cat will save it in our BHT doggie bank for the next hound that comes in to our residency.

Of course her comment made no difference to what the residents and I wanted to do. I had no idea who she was.
So, after I grabbed Frank I e-mailed her and asked if she could donate a few bucks????

Ya know, we have the most WONDERFUL residents in the whole world! If there is a perfect town, it’s Basset Hound Town. Oh how I wish we were physically in the same town. But for now, our cyber town will have to do.

I really want to do a fundraiser for the next hound we all decide to pull. I have to put on my thinking cap and get it started. It would be nice to have a dedicated fund in place. I would also love to find a foster home near by. I have been racking my brain for anyone I know. Hum…..

I’m going to try and send another check for $5 or $10, but I think Cat needs to use some of this money towards gasoline or something for herself, so she doesn’t have to pay anything out of her own pocket and I am sure the Mayor and Our Emma would approve.
No, no, no! The time and gas is on top of my 50 dollar donation. I can write the gas off. If I get any extra money it is going towards the next hound in need.
