Share time in bassethoundtown;)
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Share Time Lovers! Ahhhhh…..Share time! Sharing is one thing I love about blogging. It kind of makes you feel like a kid again, back in the 2nd grade. I used to love share time! I remember one of the best share times ever was bringing my guinea pig to school!
This is royal crested butte, a pig that I had about 20 years ago!
So, back to more sharing. Tonight the kids and I were watching some old movies I recorded. At the end of one recording was the start of another movie called The Lake House with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves. I saw it before… it was OK. I would probably give it about 2.5 paws up but the opening song had me transfixed.
So I had to share! SHARE TIME!
More loving Share Time later……Cat, Chaps and Emma
We had a few guinea pigs when we grew up too. We used to call share time “show and tell”. It was always fun.
LOL when I see a guinea pig I think of Eddie Murphy’s movie lol. Hey Cat, what happens if a move is more then 4 paws? Do you add another basset hound to make it 5 paws? lol
Even though, I like Sandra Bullock this was not one of her best efforts.
What was your Guinea Pigs name?
Cat, What’s your Friday night movie pick?
I love that song! I see why you were transfixed! I wonder how many of us here had guinea pigs as pets?! I had one called Mr. Pig when I was in my teens. He was a regular slick short haired one, he used to be my alarm clock every morning with that high pitched little squeal they do, repeatedly until he got his breakfast! Now I am awakened by a basset hound choir for the same reason!
I cannot remember the names of our pigs but my nephew got one when he was young and I remember what he named his. He was about 5 years old and wanted a mouse. My sister couldn’t imagine a mouse in the house so she got him a guinea pig. He named him Cheddar!
Maureen – His name was Royal Crested Butte!
OMG! I love all of these guinea pig stories! At one point in my life we had 16 guinea pigs. LOL
Boyd – A stellar movie is 4 paws up and a tail wag!
Never had guinea pigs, but lots of hamsters. I had one honey colored girl named Agnes and she liked to climb up on her “look-out” and then lay on her back on the outside of her wheel and ride it to the ground. I said for months she had a death-wish, and ultimately her dare-devil behavior did her in. I guess I should have called her Agnes Knievil!
