Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and the Sun being so hot you are Crying Lovers!
Today just brought a huge tear to my eye! Goodness sakes, at 8:00am it is 78 degrees. I know right then it is going to be too hot to walk the kids! The kids need exercise so I am just depressed. It brings to mind this song……
More trying not to cry about howl hot the sun is later…Cat, Chaps and Emma
It’s 78 degrees way up there?! Wow! We’re getting a cool front. It’s going to get down to 75 tonite. Ha! Our days have started out in the upper 70’s and get to the mid to upper 90’s by 3:00PM. I even had to buy an AC for the room the dogs stay in even though it’s attached to the house and gets AC! Now they have a constant 75 degrees in there even with the flapping door. We ALL love it!
i had not planned on going to the park but i realized that the girls were doing the basset 5,000 (yeah i know an extra “0” so they must not be bothered by the temperature..so off we went and they just continued it there. damn fools!
even buster wobbled around the park like a drunken sailor after things..guess i was the only one bothered by the heat. stupid me!
last night miss sally who noticed a giant moth on the bedroom wall…and in an effort to catch it (it was pretty high up) decided she had to run HEAD FIRST INTO THE WALL) over and over again. i kept hearing this noise..& when i went in to see what it was i wish i had my camera with me…i swear she is so not the sharpest tool in the shed….
thunk. (back up) thunk. (back up) thunk.
repeat as needed.
yeah puppies.
and i thought the heat would bother her….
Lois,
That is hilarious about miss Sally. I guess she never caught the bug?
WOW! That was one of my favorite groups at one time, I think my favorite song of theirs was “Ferry Cross the Merzy”
I feel sooooooooo old!
