Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Stewie Lovers. I had to share this series of pictures of Stewie saying, “thank you” after we pulled into BHT yesterday. This is what he did as soon as he arrived….
He jumped right into my lap!
Then he went belly up for Grandma. It is amazing every hound around always goes belly up for Grandma….
Then all of the thank yous came pouring out…..
“Am I dreaming?”
“Can life be this good?”
“Ahhhhhhhhhhh……..Life is good!”

I love it! Isn’t it such a great feeling when you see how much they appreciate being rescued? It’s like they know. Stewey is such a beautiful hound.

I loved having our beloved hounds in the spot light. I even ran back and forth in the 90 degree weather! Now that says A LOT! Me run? LOL
I think animals know good loving people so naturally they respond.
