I have my kids home! YES!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and having the kids home lovers!!!!! YES! I was so excited to go collect them and they were excited/mad to see me! hehehe
This is the cat room/recovery area! It is right across from the front desk and everyone kept a close eye on them. Dr. Doan said that when Emma came into her kennel from the procedure they started howling to each other. Kind of choked me up. I know they were howling for Mommy.

Emma’s condo neighbor is the vet cat. He has to hang in a kennel while the patients are in. Plus he is kind of mean!

Each kid took only one fry so I bet they are still a bit nauseous. Kind of like me after the 600 bills I dropped. Cough.
I have them tucked in for the night and I have a feeling we will all sleep well.

I cannot believe that you took the time to take those pics. Chaps still looks like he’s a little drowsy. Save them fries! They’ll be just fine wrapped in foil and thrown in the fridge to heat up in the oven for tomorrow.

OMD! When I saw them in those steel cages I had to take pictures. I had to show the residents what they suffered through. We have to show the good with the bad sometimes! Thank Dog the good out weighs the bad! YES!
Oh that is so sad to see them in a cage – I would have started to cry if I saw mine in a cage. A procedure is bad enough but a cage would put me over the top. My guys could never have been in a room with a cat unless they were really doped up! Glad they are home and loving their fries later! We send drool and slobber.
It really was quite shocking to see them in those cages. Emma is some what more used to it from all of her other procedures. Chaps lived in a kennel for the first 3 years of his life. Poor boy!

I always cry when I have to leave my kids at the Vet. Must say however that Doc. Linda and her girls are the best. I would be lost with out her. Glad the kids are feeling better and home sweet home.
Hope they got an extra special breakfast.
I am sure they will enjoy the fries today. I know it’s so upsetting to see your kids in a cage, but just remember it’s the best protection for them while they are unconscious and waking up; otherwise, they could get hurt.

Oh, I specifically asked for them to be in those actual cages. They were going to let them just lay on the floor and I said “no way”. I want them protected inside the cage. I know it would make them feel safer.
Poor burger, he was not feeling well last night. I will do a blog about it later. Himz has a bit of diarrhea. Sigh….
