Grandma calls them silk bags:)
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and silk bag lovers!
Hey! What do you call them? We all love them! The bags that hang underneath our hounds chins!
See them? Darling! Emma’s are kind of skinny!
Chaps are a bit bigger and totally cute and so soft!
Silk bags! Too sweet and too soft! I don’t think any other dog has them. Well, maybe a blood hound.
More loving silk bags later…..Cat, Chaps and Emma
P.S. Lily had the best silk bags ever…..
Actually, Lily is why Grandma came up with the term. Soft, silk bags.
More loving Lily Pad and her silk bags later…Cat, Chaps and Emma
PPS – Oh My Dog! Look at Chloe! I loved her little silk bags!
I call it “throat cleavage”–Leo has it, big time!

Mary, too funny! I would love to hear what others call it!
Cat
Harriet has the biggest bags under her neck. I call hers “granny neck”.
I heard someone call them there special treat pouch that they probably use for emergencies.
“Neck cleavage” or “Neckticles”. Scully’s were super saggy…my entire hand would disappear when I stroked her under there.
Can you imagine anyone saying
“Look at the size of those dewlaps”
It is their carry on luggage of course!
