Yesterday was a weird day:~[
Howllow Fellow Basset Hound and Weird Tuesday Lovers? We woke up yesterday and it was pouring down raining. It has not rained in months and months. Basset Hound Town is in the throws of a drought, lacking 9” in rainfall.
Then we rolled out of bed and noticed that Basset Hound Town had been hacked! Yes, hacked! This is when you kiss the ground your webmaster walks on! I would have had no idea howl to fix our town. Thank you John for getting us back up so quickly.
So, back to the weird day. While I was e-mailing back and forth with John I looked outside and Chaps was standing in the pouring rain. WT???
I never did figure that one out. I called himz back in and dried himz long body but himz was shivering a little bit so I warmed up a small towel in the microwave. This is the Mayor waiting in the kitchen for his warm towel.
The towel was just slightly warmed and he loved it. He walked around with his towel for about 10 minutes.
Then the weirdness continued. Since Basset Hound Town was down I decided to pick an errand that I was dreading and just do it!
I went to the laundromat! I have 3 comforters that needed washing.

Be very glad I did not take pictures….
When I got home I checked to see if it was a full moon.
Because it was at the laundromat;0

Hmmmm, maybe the Mayor is trying to tell you that he needs a bath. And thank you for not taking pictures at the laundry mat. So sorry about your weird day but soooo glad your back up! So, I wonder what benefit the hackers got of bringing down BHT? I just don’t understand the mentality of hackers.
I am not sure about what the hackers wanted but my hosting company caught it and took my site down. So, nothing as far as we can tell was compromised. I personally think it was a wordpress fault but I don’t think they are fessing up or ever will.

Here I am, I was just now able to access the Basset Hound Town website.
I know the Mayor gets furious when thinks aren’t working properly in Basset Hound Town. I know the Mayor is thinking “Heads Will Roll”, but I wouldn’t want to see anyone loose their tail over this mishap.
I think the warm towel calmed our Mayor down quite a bit.
But what’s with the Mayor??? He has more than enough sense to come in from the rain. This hacker problem must have really been weighing on his mind.
At least we can be thankful that they hacked the website and not the Mayor. I wonder what makes people do this kind of thing? Oh well it could have been worse.
Debbie – it was so strange. It was like he forgot he hates getting wet. Poor big boy!

Ahhhhh, it’s good to be back in Basset Hound Town.
Maybe Chaps was soooooooo angry about the hackers that he had to stand in the rain to cool off. Glad you’re back.
