Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Bad Dog Lovers! Well, not really. None of us love a bad dog but when Grandma wears a bad dog Tee Shirt for Howlloween it is different!

LOL! That shirt she is wearing is actually a night shirt that she thought would be fun for the kids Trick and Treating. Chaps actually started barking at her. A nice piece of cheese shut himz right down! hehehehehe

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Half Price Howlloween Horror Lovers…..

Visiting Basset Hound Town just might pay off from time to time! I must tell all of the residents that I have wanted this costume for decades. I just was not willing to put my hounds in one due to the uncomfortable nature of the design.

It looks like a torture chamber…..and it costs about 20 bucks.

Well, get this. Today I was at my local Krogers and saw a sign that said, “Half Off All Halloween Stuff”! So, being the curious sort I wandered over……

What do I find? A glow in the dark apron! Hum….I stared at it for a few minutes and decided it looked just like the design I had been looking for, for the kids. I am thinking this apron would fit like a dog coat, the exact design I have been looking for.

The neck strap is adjustable and the ties look like they will fit right under the belly of a long, long hound!

I adjusted the neck strap so it fit like a dog coat and the ties fit comfortably right under the Mayor’s belly.

Here you can see the side and the tie hanging down. All of that is really fixable.

Most costumes hamper walking but most dogs seem to be OK in coats. That is why I wanted something like a coat. See howl his shoulder are totally unobstructed? The top of the apron fits around the neck.

The back is kind of long but if you are just going to a school or a retirement home it is just fine. It did not bother Chaps at all. He walked right over and got a drink with Emma.

If you want, you could cut it off. I might do that.

I could tighten the belly tie to fit herz! She went right about her crumb sniffing kitchen mission!

PLUS IT GLOWS IN THE DARK! ALL OF THAT FOR 8 DOLLARS!

I am going back to get Emma an apron tomorrow……

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and total denial lovers about November…

I am so upset. I cannot flip over the Sr. Hounds Abound calendar. It is November the 2nd and I cannot turn over the Calendar that features our Mayor, Chaps…

I am so upset that I had to make myself a grilled Havarti sandwich. I needed to go to heaven…..

Then I turned over the Calendar. NOVEMBER…

Himz name is LongShot. That is what it took me to flip over the month.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and voting lovers! We have a ritual in basset hound town. We vote, then we eat! LOL! We get up early, vote then make a bee line to Blob Evans! Give me some sausage gravy!

Then we come home and bring the kids a piece of bacon!

Mama stuck her “I voted” sticker on a white haunch.

I vote for Emma. I vote for Chaps. I vote for no more puppy mills. I vote for no more bad breeders. I vote for spay and neuter. I vote for equal justice for dogs. I vote for stuff that never really gets to be voted on.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Home Alone Lovers….Well, I am not really one of those. I am of the school that dogs need another dog to pack with. OK, I know that Chaps could do just fine on his own with me but without me he needs Emma. I just like having 2 dogs and I have always had 2 dogs. Anyway this is a funny cute video!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and howl do these three things relate lovers……Well, yesterday was googling the words basset hounds Halloween. A few things came up but nothing too blog worthy except for this Wall Street Journal article tucked on about page 6 of my google search. In a nutshell, Kraft was in the process back in 2008 of taking over the British Cadbury Chocolate Company.
