Who remembers Laura Nyro?
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Laura Nyro Lovers….
She passed away from ovarian cancer back in 1997 at the age of 49. I did not know that until I googled her last night.
I have a category called, “Music I download from ITunes”. It really has nothing to do with basset hounds, just the music I listen to with them, so I stand corrected. It has everything to do with basset hounds!
I love to make specific CDs for my transports. I find music soothes the savage beast! (me)! hehehe
So, anyway, I just downloaded this tune and wanted to put it in this category. When I heard it last night it brought back memories of the 70s. I loved the 70s.
It is a very short tune…..Enjoy!

I don’t remember this at all, but it does sound so beautiful and relaxing.
I love her – made sure to see her live several times…once she was pregnant. Each time she was shy, sweet – and sang and played beautifully.
I wish they’d make a movie of her life!
