Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and wondering why if Mommy is in the room, the hound wants out of the closed door lovers…..
I just don’t get it! I was back in the office with Chaps and Emma. The door was closed because Grandma was sweeping some dirt and dog hair out of the front door. It was an odd 40ish degree day.
You would think that Shimlette would want to be with Mommy?
Who cares that Grandma is sweeping out dog hairs at the front door?
Emma does!
She sat in that odd squat for about 10 minutes!
P.S. do you think that is an odd squat? tehehehehe
It was her dog hairs that were being swept!

I think she was just interested on what was going on, on the other side. What we don’t understand is that Emma can hear and smell much better than we can imagine. She knows Grandma is on the other side doing something and she wants to be a part!
Emma can probably smell a grilled cheese cooking at the elementary school up the street! Emma is sooooooooo smart and so pretty! She is a real package! hehehe

I too think it was Emma’s/Shimlette’s curiousity. Remember Emma’s hearing is superb, so she was curious as to what was going on. Our Emma doesn’t want to miss anything.
