Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Needing No Translation Lovers!
It looks like these girls (and one boy from what I can tell) are having a great time playing in the snow in Japan.
Basset Hound Town is due for a big dumper tonight. We might get about 6”. We will see!
More loving playing in the snow later…Can you say, “Snow Day?” YES!

These hounds are having alot of fun. I wonder if this is a breeder. The one female looks like she’s had several litters.
Also, did you see the spitz type dog that drifted around the hounds? They didn’t pay any attention to him/her at all.

I have no idea. The Youtube was all in Japanese. That spitz was too funny.
this looks like my afternoons at the dog park…my 3 + willie, maggie moo, max, chester & annie bannanie & an odd extra friend tossed in…& the chaos begins!
much running, leaping, chasing & throw down..oh & much much barking. we have 2 parks next to each other..one for all dogs (mostly large one tho) where the snow is really hard packed now & a smaller one of about a 1/4 acre where the snow is still quasi- fluffy..this is the special small dog park..for some reason the basset brigade seems to this this is the best place to run & chase. so they have been in here playing & chasing. plus there are 2 huge piles of leaves in the corners that they love to chase each other into…they could play in the 2 acre one but nope..the smaller one works just fine.
go figure.
That is too cute! Bassets just look so very pretty playing in the snow. I like it when they stop to groom each others ears. Seems as tho the boy is on ear patrol. Hehehehehe.
I’d give anything to have some of their energy.
