Spring in February! YES!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Spring in February Lovers! We were certainly one of those today. We have been looking forward to today for about 5 days now! All weather predictions came true and off we went for a Spring in February walk with the kids! It was a bit windy but 60! Look at those ears flying!
Chaps loved this area!
So, we over extended ourselves and pooped out at a lovely bench. OK, this means one thing to the kids…..A TREAT! Howl ever, like the dork I am, I left the treats in the car! Not to worry. Grandma went into the visitors center and bought some cheese crackers! Dog love her! See her in the background?
She gave each kid a cracker and it was the icing on the Spring Walk Cake!

Looks like you guys had a great early spring day! Where did you go? Today was Bumpers 9th birthday so we did a lot of bonding, petting and belly rubs. He also spent time sunning himself on the deck. His birthday treat was a Frosty Paw – of course Abby had one too! I love spring and can’t wait for it to get here and stay!
Judy, we went to Woodland Mound off of old Kellogg RD. We love the flat walking trails.
