Doc is Shelly Gordon’s rescued basset. Shelly and her husband run the largest store for basset items in the world. I don’t know if they say it quite that way, but it must be true!
OK, I have to say something about this video. If Emma was in this same circumstance she would have gone wild! I mean it. A few times she has been able to get into the food bag and the sight is unreal. Her head goes down and it weighs 25 times it’s normal weight. You cannot lift it. Her shoulders are hunching up and down like a machine. It is like she has not eaten in 24 days. It is scary howl much she loves food. She also likes getting one over on me and it is too cute.

I can never get over the fact that Bassets are always hungry. No matter how many treats they receive they always want more. The only time Slinky was NOT interested in food was after her surgery she just want to sleep but the next morning she was howling for breakfast.
That is just too funny. The other guy doesn’t seem to know how to open it up! And Doc didn’t share!

OM – Emma would have figured out the opening and then Chaps would have horned in on it. What I can’t get over is howl well mannered Doc was. What a gentle hound!
