The basset hound community has lost a great and wonderful 16 year old girl.

She is so lovely and soft looking, Elder Clara was definely loved, and she will be missed.
I always admired Elder Clara for her endless help for homeless hounds. She touched many hearts during the time that she was with us. Yes, she will be missed very much.
Goodbye sweet, soft Clara. There are many good friends waiting to show you around at the bridge. Look for my Maxine … she knows the best spots to nap in the sun.
