The Doyle Hounds Get Spring Cleaned!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Spring Cleaning Basset Hound Lovers! Well, well, well…..Here we have the Doyle hounds getting a spring cleaning air our! There is nothing better than airing out hounds and their beds at the same time!
Cindy sent me some pictures today of her pack airing out. I love it!
My Mom is a huge fan of airing out a hound!
So, hear we have Rugs! Airing out on his bed that is airing out!
Then we have beautiful Harriet! Such a delicate beauty!
Next up…..The birthday boy! Mr. Jethro will be 10 years old tomorrow! Happy Birthday big boy! We love you! Look howl good you are airing out!
Then, last but not least……Mr. Ozzie! Himz likes to lay next to the Texas Tomatoes! Yummy!

Oh, forgive me. Sassy! Sassy was adopted! Duh. I cannot believe I forgot her name. Miss Sassy found a great home!
I love clean hounds that have been aired out! I love to open the windows and air out the winter hound smell too! Maybe tomorrow will be a good day – 72 in bassethoundtown Ky.

No airing out hounds up here. Snowed and rained yesterday and now they are saying we are expecting a big snow (and hefty winds) Tuesday night and Wednesday (they actually said 12 inches!) I want spring (I’d be happy to hit 50 degrees on a regular basis).
Cat, Oz is a boy! Ha! That’s ok. He’ll forgive ya. Yep, Jethro is 10 today. And he acts like an old grouchy man too. But we still love him.
Sassie was adopted on February 5th to a nurse who is real active and takes her running with her and keeps her busy. She’s got a terrier brother to play with too. Her new Mom loves her and she’s doing great! I’m soooo glad. And so are my senior hounds! They couldn’t handle her.
So, we’re all aired out and squeaky clean at the Doyle house! The hounds slept good last night.
Cindy I am such an idiot. I know that. I am not springing forward very good, or maybe I will blame it on the super moon!
Not a prob Cat. I’m not springing forward very well either! Having a really hard time getting up and coming in to work. Oh how I wish I felt ready to retire. Some day!
All doors and windows open in Bassethoundtown. Chaps is laying on the back deck airing himself out. I have Emma’s window open!
