Hal reluctant to get his bath…
April 14th, 2011 - 11:11 am KY Time
Howllo fellow Basset Hound and Hal marching off to get his bath lovers.
In this Tube, his Mom repeats over and over, “Go to the bath room”.
Is that bathing set up super or what? In my wildest dreams I cannot imagine Chaps getting up and walking into the shower but I could be wrong.
More wishing I had a walk in shower stall later. Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma
Howl Cool is that bathroom?! Poor Hal. Such a good boy. I have a walk in shower but I wouldn’t dare try to wash my dogs in it. First off, I don’t have a hand held shower sprayer thing and most importantly, my dogs would clog up the drain with hair! I even tried using one of those things that stops the hair from going down the drain and then we had a bath tub full of hair! Mine stay dirty till the weather is good enough to wash outside. That’s much easier for me. If they HAVE to have baths during the winter they go to the groomer.
I dream of walk in shower for the kids. I also have a very good plumber so he would be on call! LOL!
I can understand Hal’s reluctance, but I still can’t believe he walked into the shower on his own.
When I have given Slinky a shower/bath – she squirms, cries, whines and tries to get out of the bath like it is a torture chamber.
That’s why I take her to the groomer, where she gets the works…bath, nails and ears.
Howl much does that cost Maureen?
PetSmart Charges about $25.00 for all three services(it might be a few dollars more).
Ear Cleaning and nail clipping are just $15.00.
Nail Clipping alone is about $8.00-$10.00
That’s a good price but I don’t trust our Petsmarts and Petcos around here. I’ve heard a few horror stories. I have a groomer that I’ve been using since the late 80’s. She only charges me $5 a dog to clip the nails since I have so many. But bathing, anal gland expressing, ear cleaning and the works costs me around $40 each. But I know my dogs are loved and treated well while they’re there.
