SLOG entry 4-12-04
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and SLOG entry lovers. For those of you new or those of you who don’t remember my terminology, SLOG is my spiral ring notebook log of when I was planning my new puppy, later to be know as Princess Emma!
Well I was looking back and I wanted to share what I wrote on 4-12-04….

I was absolutely beyond obsessed with any information I could get. I was sooooooooooo excited!
It was hard to wait for the delivery.
I want to share this letter that wrote to Emma’s Mommy, Dawn….
I actually reproduced it so I could keep a copy. I am so thrilled I did. I wrote it on my favorite note card.

Emma will get a special treat on her Birthday a taste of ice cream and if weather permits a walk and some more special treats and lots of love.
I think I might celebrate with an ice cream myself!
I want some of Emma’s birthday ice cream!!! Dangit. Wish we lived close enough to help with the celebration. We’ll do what we can via the web though!

Yes Maureen she does! We have been talking about it all week. Just now I was telling her about her birth. We really enjoy that story!
Oh! I thought it was going to be a surprise party. I know Chaps was keeping mum!
Chaps can’t keep a secret!
I beg to differ, Chaps is the soul of descretion. Didn’t anyone ever tell you that Bassets have such long ears so they can keep secrets in them.
