Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Emma on her 7th birthday lovers…..As many of the town’s dear readers know, bassethoundtown releases an official birthday shot of Miss Emma every year.
This year Grandma placed a crown of Cherry Blossoms on her head and we captured the true essence of our Emma!
If you look closely, you can see the slightest portion of the pink patty. You know pink is her signature color!
Of course proud Mamma had to get in on the act!

the divine miss e! she looks radiant as usual! i just love this dog…she is such a special dog..& not because of the blindness altho actually i take that back…it makes her even more so special…it is not a feeling of pity..but one of awe…to me the loss of sight completed her…i know it doesn’t sound right & might even come off as mean spirited but i have mentioned before that emma is a very calming dog…she just radiates that…that when i am in times of stress i can look at her pix & the stress just flows right out of me…
i can imagine others might have the same feeling..i can see her as a therapy dog…she has the wisdom & what a great role model…it is her purpose…
anyway..nuff rambling..get some fries & enjoy the day!

OH MY! You both are absolutely gorgeous! What a fabulous idea Grandma had with the crown. It just makes the outfit.
The Doyle bassets want to know about the treats too. Maybe we have some frosty paws waaaaay in the back of the freezer that we can have this weekend to help celebrate.
