Well…..Grandma and I are certainly lovers of HRH! Actually, we are lovers of the entire royal wedding. We had soooooooooooo much fun today!
We got up early. I actually got up at 2:00am because I could not sleep. I was so excited to see the coverage. I knew that the kids would sleep in much longer so I got a shot of Emma yesterday with her tribute to Her Royal Highness, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.
I went up to Grandma’s place about 4:45.
We had a real royal set up for our viewing pleasure!

Life can’t get much better when you are happy!
A lip reader saw HRH Catherine say, “are you happy?” And William said, “Yes, very.”

This morning, everyone on the TV shows are calling her Princess Catherine. Do these people not do any research? Or do they care?
I guess they don’t do any research.I just spent 5 minutes looking and found that her titles are,Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge,Her Royal Highness Princess William Artur Philip Louis, Duchess of Cambridge, Countess of Strathearn and Baroness of Carrikfergus!
Did you know Will and Catherine are 15th cousins on Williams mother’s side and 12th cousins once removed on Catherine’s Father”s side?? WHEW!! TOO MUCH INFO !!!

Even though she can’t be called “Princess” because she does not come with a title of her own, my guess is that most other “commoners” will refer to her as “Princess Kate”. Of course she’s not suppose to be called “Kate” anymore either.
I heard that Prince William gave a toast at one of the parties and asked everyone to raise a glass and toast his wife “Mrs. Wales”.
OneMom! Mrs. Wales, that is cute. I also heard that Wills asked Grandma to bestow Princess Catherine to his new wife and she had none of if. She must follow Monarchy law, or would that be Monarcal law? Anyway…No Princess title for Kate. I have been typing Catherine but I guess it is Katherine? Oh the woes of Royalty!
I think it is Catherine (with a “C”). Grandma Queen needs to lighten up. Makes no sense that Kate can be “Queen” but she can’t be “Princess”?
I think Grandma is not one to lighten up! Kate will never be Queen. She will be Queen Consort. hehehe
Do you think Charles will ever be King?
Yes. I think that Grandma, is not one to change any rules. That is unless he kicks before Grandma dies. Her Mom, (Queen Consort) lived to 101.
I heard that “Charlie” could refuse to be King, then it would automatically be King William.
Then would she be Mrs. King William?!?!? This is SO confusing!!
Hum…..Interesting. IMO, Charles would never refuse to be King. If he did, the Dutchess of Cambridge would be Queen Consort.
IMO he should let William be King above him but I am not sure that William would want that. He seems happy to wait for the next 40 years or so.
I have heard discussions that Charles may have Alzheimer’s, which could play a role in the decision (if true).
What do some of you think of the hats worn at the Royal Wedding?
I think they were riculous and comical. Some of those women looked like they were mythical creatures from a Harry Potter film.
I thought if William became King, his wife would automatically be Queen. I also thought that since he is a Prince she would be a Princess since she married him.
I thought Camilla couldn’t be queen, because she was divorced.
It is so very confusing to say the least. HRH Catherine will become Queen Consort when William becomes King. I have no idea about Camilla. When Charles was interviewed recently he said that it is possible that Camilla could become Queen Consort as well. Who knows??? When Queen Elizabeth dies Charles might be able to change what ever laws they abide by.
