EYE CANDY…..
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Eye Candy Lovers……
A special shout out to Debbie and the Masterpiece Bassets for sending me this pawsome e-mail!
If I ever make it overseas again this is on my bucket list.
THE NETHERLANDS IN MAY!
Can you imagine this is your backyard?
The northern Netherlands in the middle of tulip season. The Dutch landscape in May is kaleidoscope of color as the tulips burst into life. The bulbs are planted in late October and early November. More than three billion tulips are grown each year and two-thirds of the vibrant blooms are exported, mostly to the U.S. and Germany.
Their dazzling colors are thanks to the years in the 17th century when tulip mania swept the
globe and the most eye-catching specimens changed hands for a small fortune.
But like a rainbow, this colorful landscape is a short-lived phenomenon.
When the flowers are gone, the land will be cultivated for a rather more mundane crop of vegetables.
The Netherlands produce more than nine million bulbs a year.
Wanna see the 2 lips in my back yard?
More EYE CANDY later…..Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma
Nothing is more beautiful than the 2 Lips in your back yard Cat. How hilarious!
And yes, I’ve seen those pictures before but I could look at them all day. Very beautiful and interesting fact. Thanks for sharing.
Just let me KISS those 2lips. YES
Cindy – I think this is why Verna picks our back yard. He is in awe of the Mayor and his good looks! hehehe
Sandy – I cannot believe the fur is still on those lips from all of the kisses he gets from me. He seems to really enjoy it! I sure look forward to sharing him with you at some point! Emma will be in line as well!
Stunningly beautiful. The flowers are nice too.

That is so funny OM! Love it! I will give those 2 lips a kiss for you!
Don’t forget an extra kiss from the Hannah-Bear!
Oh, we will never forget Hannah-Bear. She will be 236 kisses!

Lois – Thank you so much for this information. I would much rather do Holland MI. That way I can take the kids. I must insist that you send me a picture of Lois van der Lema. If you don’t I will hunt you down. You are so funny. I love that story!
