Ranger Rescue Update:)
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and wondering about Ranger Lovers……
Our Ranger was adopted!!!!! By a very nice family in Northern KY. I did some networking but I am not sure howl the family found Ranger, their new basset hound lover!
This is Ranger and I talking to the rescue woman. Look howl serious I look! Then, look at Ranger…It just looks like he is saying, “So, what do we do from here?”
Someone got lucky when they adopted Ranger. He is such a great boy. Grandma and I were lucky to meet him.
Now, in other basset rescue news….
I received an e-mail from Suzanne of Mid-Atlantic to see if I could be on call to help this young man!
Start of e-mail from Suzanne….
“Hi Cat,
There is a 14-16 week old male basset puppy that we have agreed to take in. They need to move him out within the next week since they are closing down..
Can I ask your help in putting out the word for help for our rescue in getting Zoomer up here?

Of course I will. I will even go get him! He is only about an hour and half away. Suzanne is working on a transport as we speak. I would love to meet this sweet boy! He will be Zooming into to someone’s heart soon!
Grandma, we may be on another transport soon!
Thanks Suzanne for taking this baby boy! Let me know what I can do……
More loving baby boys later….Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma
First of all, you had a serious matter on your hands. That’s why you looked serious.
Secondly, what a CUTE, CUTE PUPPY! I wonder howl in the world he ended up an orphan? It will be so much fun for you to be able to be with a puppy again. And I’m sure you’ll be glad that it’s only temporary! Take some chew toys!
Cindy – we have not been called into action yet. If we are, I will look forward to it. Howl can anyone dump a cute pup like that? Well, I the little boy will be much better off in the hands of Suzanne…
He looks like he’s got a mole under his right eye. I hope it’s just something else in the picture cuz that’s not a good place to have a bump.
Well Cat, I know that if you are called you will do an excellant job of taking care of and transporting this cutie. If it were me I’d be wishing to be called on this one!
I am hoping I am called into action. I think that thing under his eye is a goober. Or a tear:(
That puppy Zoom is just adorable, I am sure there will be a lot of Basset lovers out there who will want this little guy.
My Zeke Zip and Zap , send pre – regards to the Zoom! So cute; needs love! (Z names rule!)
Grandma – I totally agree with you. I just hope we get to help him find his lover!
Gotta love those Z names! Zizzle!
oh my.
damn that suzanne…bringing him up here. oh my. she told me about him tonight & then i didn’t know he would be here…oh my.
i did suggest a new name for him tho…i suggested “clooney” after another kentucky guy since he also makes you go “oh my.”
Lois, I love the name Clooney – This little boy pup looks like a matinee idol!
Cat,
Do you need any money to help this Clooney at this time?
What a sweatheart.
Maureen – I think we are fine right now. I will keep everyone posted. I sure hope I get to meet the little stinker….
