Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and not loving cat lovers….I am just not a cat person. In fact they kind of freak me out. Anyway, this video has gone viral and I have run across it all over the internet but I had never viewed it. Well, today I caved in and now it is on my blog! It is sooooooooooooo cute!
More glad I caved in later…..Cat, Chaps and Emma (we need a hug!)
PS, make that 18 million and 1!
I had not seen that until now. How precious! Of course, I’m sure the Mom was just stretching. Ha! I’m not a cat person either but I don’t hate them. We have a rescue that I inherited from a friend that, when he dies, we wont’ get another.
Cat, I thought you had a cat or 2?
Oh, I don’t hate cats, just dislike them. I do like my sister’s cat. Casper. He is funny. I have never had a cat in my life. Never wanted one.
No cats here either but it sure is a cute video!
My sister had cats when we were growing up. I stuck with the dogs. If my BFF wouldn’t have asked me to take in the stray she had to give up, I wouldn’t have one. He’s a pretty cool cat tho. I’ll miss him when he’s gone but not enough to have another.
We had cats , before we had dogs in our household. Now I wouldn’t get one because the hounds would out number it! But I love kitties too! That video is so cute! Growing up we had cats, dogs , rabbits, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, ant farms, ……… LOL One cat we had was quite dog like, very cool striped tiger named Rocky. If you had met him, Cat, I bet you would of liked cats.
Gotta love a cat that acts like a dog! hehehe
Rocky sounds great!
AWWW! How impossibly adorable! I have two cats, and always was a cat person before I became a Basset case:) Just remember: “Dogs have Masters. Cats have staff.”… ARoooooooooooo,
Mary, Harley, Biggs, Leo, & kitkats Puckwheat and Angel

Cats are cute when they are kittens, but when they become adults they are sneaky and untrustworthy.
Cat, I emailed you a video address to respond to this video.
Awww just adorable….. we love cats and have always had at least one. Our present cat is a one year old lilac siamese Cairo whom we got at 10 weeks old. Paisley just adored having a kitten to raise and carred Cairo around like a mother dog would a pup. Cairo is what we now call a Siamese Basset Cat. He sniffs everyone he greets, is absolutely vocal in what he wants and retrieves and fetches balls. They pair of them get along like the siblings they are and not a day goes by without us laughing at their play fighting. Cairo goes for the achillies tendons usually when Paisley is relaxing for a belly rub and Paisley still goes for the siamese head in the mouth move. Most days we find them curled up in Paisleys bed for their afternoon snooze.
Well, LuLu is sitting here with me reading these disparaging cat comments and feeling rather sad. We got LuLu at the shelter almost a year ago … she’s such a great cat that even Nell and Sophie (sussex spaniel and basset) love her! LuLu falls down asking for belly rubs more than the dogs do. It has actually become a standard phrase at our house “cat fell down”.
Growing up there was always one cat and one dog at our house. I haven’t had a cat in years, but I am so glad we added LuLu to our family. This sweet cat even tried to win money for the hounds at house of puddles (she didn’t win, but she tried).
Oh, I am so sorry about LuLu! I feel so bad! I was hoping that Hannah saw the video! Did you guys like it?
It is not that I hate cats it is just that they kind of scare me for some reason…..
Hannah loved the video. LuLu was just teasing … she is very laid-back and has a good sense of humor. 😉
I am sure I would love LuLu!
Love to hear from the cat lovers! I don’t know what my problem is. I think I am scared of them for some reason. I wonder why?
Cat, my cat is black. That should scare ya! Hehehehehe.
