Thank You Auntie Maureen for my very own rattle toy!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Emma wanting her very own rattle toy lovers. You may recall, back in October when the Mayor received his rattle toy from Auntie Maureen (of Maureen and Slinky) and that Emma wanted one as well!
Well…….Shimlette got hers in the mail a little while back. It was so funny. I opened the package while Emma was sleeping. I threw away the envelop and laid the toy on the the couch being very gentle so it would not rattle and wake the little princess. I turned my back for a second and this is what I saw.
Emma, grabbed her toy and was heading for her bed. Too cute!
There is nothing more heartwarming than a child with a new toy! hehehe
Then the big bull pushed his way into the mix!
No problem, I just grabbed the other rattle toy and everyone was happy!
More loving keeping the peace later. Cat, Chaps and little princess….

Glad to see they play nicely! They are just like human children 🙂 Are you going to be raising money for HOP this year with your Christmas cards? I am trying to be better prepared this year.

HI RHandM – You know what? I totally forgot all about that. Yes, I think I will do that again. Every dollar helps and the residents sent the Mayor a tidy little sum last year. A dollar for the elders! Dog gone stamps almost cost that much. I guess I better do it this year since the PO might be a thing of the past by next year. Thanks for the reminder!

I take exception to you referring to our suave, cool, charismatic Mayor a “big bull”!
Maureen – we love calling the Mayor “our big bull”. He is so funny, he will snort and puff his chest just like a bull. Oh we laugh and laugh. Himz really a lamb. hehehe
Okay, but I want to be sure the Mayor’s feelings aren’t being hurt, because himz soooooooo sensitive.
