Chaps worry bed does double duty!

December 29th, 2011 - 8:08 pm KY Time

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and double duty lovers!  Well, many of the residents know that Chaps has his very own worry bed that he lays in and waits for Mommy and Grandma to come home.  He feels comforted and secure.

This winter season the worry bed turns into the fireplace bed at night.

In the past, I have not turned on my gas fireplace every night but I have not missed a night since I moved the worry bed from his window to here one night.

Now he looks forward to it.  Soooooo cute!

Himz turns and turns making his bed.  I am now the one worried.  What will we do in the Spring?

But for now, we have a soft landing and plenty more winter ahead of us…..

I guess you’ll just have to turn on the AC and the fireplace too!

If Chaps in his worry bed in front the fire doesn’t say home and comfort, I don’t know what does.

I would suggest starting to make the fires burn shorter in time before Spring. That way when you turn it off for good he will not miss the fireplace. I understand Chaps’ delight with the fireplace, I love to read or watch a good mystery and have my fireplace burning.
