Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Baby Robins Thinking Chaps Has Worms Lovers!
It was so funny when we got home today. Chaps went out back as I was getting ready to open his gate. He bumped into the planter that the baby robins are in. They are in the top middle pot.
When he bumped the wrought iron planter they all woke up!
They thought Mom and Dad were bringing the worms……
They waited…..
And waited…..
And then I was waiting to see if the fourth baby would show up!
YES!
Then it was our dinner time!
The Mayor is Hungry!

P.S. The Robins were fed for about an hour after we went inside! Worms for everyone!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Paige Alessandro Lovers….Well, I never was fortunate enough to meet Princess Paige but she was the loving Grand Daughter of Judy and Rick, of Bumper and Abby of Bassethoundtown. That makes little Paige a resident as well!
Paige bravely battled a spinal vascular disease her entire life and suffered a very severe spinal stroke in 2008. After overcoming many obstacles, Paige died peacefully from acute liver failure which was more than likely a complication of her disease.
Get this! Over a 1000 folks showed up today and early estimates say that 33K was made for Children’s Hospital of Cincinnati. It was sooooooooo cool. Most, if not all of the runners had on tutus and sparkles on their running shoes. It really was a sight to behold I am told. We did not get there until the family walk.

Grandma and I donated a basket for the raffle. It was the coolest basket there, just ask me! hehehe
Judy did a cute booth called adopt a pet. She had little stuffed animals that you could dress in cute items.
Check this out! This bike was part of a silent auction. I would have LOVED to tool around on this beauty.
A PINK SCHWINN BIKE! The seat was shaped like a heart. OMD! I would have taken up bike riding again but the auction was up to 200.00! Dang. Howl ever this gal looked cute on my bike!
Next year Grandma and I are going to do a kissing/slobber booth. Now that I have the lay of the land I think this will be our way to get those TICKETS!
“Anyone want a kiss? That will be 3 tickets… NEXT PLEASE”

Wow, howl much would I give to be with these folks right now? Instead I am at work. Work, work, working…..I would love to be Walk, walk, walking…..
I guess the next best thing is a peanut butter and cheese sandwich and watching the hounds on Hackpen Hill. (about 8 mins)

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Mid May lovers…..Today I had my nice landscaping guy come over and help me plant some stuff. It was cold and drizzling but we persevered. This is Wade up on the top tier planting a beautiful blue hydrangea!
The Mayor was keeping an eye on him!
Where was Emma? I felt a need to go in and check on her.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Sugar Maple Lovers! I have always loved the Sugar Maple tree. Probably because it has the word Sugar in it. It just seems so sweet! hehehe
So, it seemed very fitting to buy one for my sister for her 20 year wedding anniversary. My Mom and I looked everywhere and interestingly, a sugar maple was really hard to find. But, we endevored and found one. We came up with the idea after seeing Kate Middleton walk down the aisle of the Abby lined with her beloved Maple trees that will be planted at one of the couples homes.
Just so stunning. We loved that idea.

That is the card and a royal purple ribbon. My nice landscaping guy (Wade) is picking it up for us tomorrow and delivering it to sis.

Mom and I would love to present this beautiful Sugar Maple tree to both of you, in honor of your 20 year wedding anniversary.
The wood of the Sugar Maple has been notable for hundreds of years in England in the design of harps. Mom and I both recall the wonderful harp music at your wedding.

Someone is looking over her family! There is a giant Maple the next yard over! I see Verna flying over to it as she swoops down to find worms.
