The Mayor’s wall of honor is coming along nicely!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and wall of honor lovers….Today Grandma and I went to the copy center at Staples to pick up the poster art I had designed for our beloved Mayor. This guy was working on it!
He placed it on foam core and then laminated it.
I waited too long to showcase his hard work.
I love it!
When we got home we started arranging all of his ribbons!
Grandpa (Wayne Rudert) would be proud!
Wow there were so many we ran out of room.
I know I showed you guys all of the ribbons but this is howl they will fit on the poster.
I will hang it in my office tomorrow. On the wall where Grandpa and Chaps are pictured!
I work hard in my office and Chaps worked hard for his ribbons. It will be a great inspiration for me. I admire Chaps for being such a good boy. Bless his heart. The show circuit is a hard one.
More giving credit where credit is due later…..Love, Cat, Champion Chaps and Emma….
PS, notice howl the word Champion also has the word Chap(s) in it? No surprise there! hehehe

Champ Chaps. I love it! I can’t imagine how much work it was to earn all these ribbons in the few short years that he worked for them. I’m so glad you asked for them when you got Chaps and that your displaying them like this. How special.
It is wonderful that you have his ribbons. I am surprised that they gave them to you. It will really be a great tribute to Chaps that you are making such a keepsake. I bet he had a hard and constantly busy life going to shows. I think he likes life with you and Emma better.
You are so right Judy. He has such a better life now…It was hard, but I got his ribbons. I made sure of it. There was no way I was not going to get those ribbons. I have my ways. His breeder told me they were in her attic. Can you even imagine?

Congrats Mayor on all your ribbons and personalized poster! I wonder why mom never entered me in any contests! I want some ribbons that will attest to my greatness! Probably mom just assumed I would win everything and it wouldn’t be fair to the other bassets…that has to be the reason… 😉
I am sure Chaps made it difficult for other Bassets to win. All Chaps had to do was to show up, and all the other Bassets knew they didn’t have a chance.
I am sure Chaps wants his efforts and accomplishments to inspire others.
