Flat bassets…

Hollow Fellow Basset Hound and Flat Basset Lovers….A few days ago Grandma told me to make sure I never was far from my Iphone/Camera. The tiny moments are the ones that make a giant blog posting. I thought that was such good advise…as you can see from this shot!

And then the moment was over. Emma got up and went out the doggie door! At least I captured it. What would our weekend be without my quick thinking and Grandma’s advise?

I just love a basset belly up. Emma is soooo precious! Jethro lays on his back with his belly up all the time. Then when I go in the room he starts wagging his tail and moving his back legs back and forth like he’s riding a bike. He knows that there’s no way I can pass up that cuteness without bending down and giving him at least 20 kisses. They’re so funny.
they are funny! I can hear my Emma drop on her back and patiently wait for rubs. She is a big girl and I literally can hear her roll over! She knows I am a total sucker and stop whatever I am doing to give kisses and rubs.
Positions that look so uncomfortable are always comfortable for Bassets.
