Howl dare you get me off the couch – YouTube!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Fancy Couch Lovers…
The kids and I made this video back in 2007 and to date it has received 40,420 hits on YouTube. I think it might be my most viewed tube, or at least one of them.
I thought I would share it again on the blog!
I still have the couch and there is still no hounds allowed on it. It is now for the best now because I don’t like them jumping up on furniture anymore due to their aging backs. I try to protect them at all cost.
I hope you enjoy!
More loving long backs later….Cat, Chaps and Emma
Hi Cat,
Iknow that LOOK and you just can’t help but love them!!! Oh, how I adore them both!
If you want the hounds to feel like this is their home. They have to be able to make themselves comfortable wherever and whenever they decide to.
If you want them to feel like company, then shouldn’t they be able to sit on the good sofa!
That is so funny! Emma did not care. She was comfy and that’s where she was going to stay. Our hounds are not allowed on furniture either. Well, I have a fouton in my computer room that they’re allowed on. It’s very low to the ground. But our reason is that Daddy just doesn’t like the kids on the furniture. So, for that reason, we have a queen sized “pallet” I have made in the middle of the living room floor. And it’s very comfy cuz I lay on it every nite for houndy snuggles.
I love the pallet idea. Nice and low and no backs are compromised. (including yours) hehehe
You are right Cat! Only problem is, I have to get up off the floor and that is sometimes a problem. Ha!
They are so cute!!!! My Zoey INSISTS on sleeping on my purple couch in the formal living room. Of course she is a tri-color so all the colors of her hair cover that couch and no matter what I do I cannot keep her off of it! And of course she has to knock off the pillows so the living room pretty much always looks like a mess. kids!
