A few steps forward into the sunlight!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Sunlight Lovers….It was just a special day in bassethoundtown.  The weather was cool this morning and Grandma and I had some gardening to do.

Emma has not tried to go down the back steps since her set back about a week and 1/2 ago.   So, watching her like a hawk we let her make her way and make her way she did!  She only stumbled once and only fell about an inch off a step.

This is her favorite sun bathing spot.  Right on Emma!

I know I have posted many garden pictures but these are much different.  The Mayor was holding court today as we watered and tended to the tomato plant.  He ordered Emma to observe the upper deck.

Then Grandma and I decided that was enough sun and vitamin D and got the kids inside.

Here comes Emma up the steps.  This may look normal to some folks but to us it was awe inspiring.  Grandma and I were clutching our fists and gritting our teeth.

The baby robins are still here in the blue pot on the right.  I am wondering if they ever will leave!  They are so big they are going to push each other out of that pot.

I had bought a new hanging door screen the day before and it was different than the last one I had but we still wanted to see if she could maneuver it.

Come on….She is as sharp as a tack.

Chaps beat her to the AC vent…

More loving a few steps into the sunlight later….Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma

I haven’t had the chance to be on the e-net. son seems to rule. But reading about Emma is so upsetting to see what she is dealing with. I am so glad when my Hubby came and said she is getting better and to see her outside…sigh nothing better.
Keeping you all in our prayers, and the hounds send loads of loving drool.
