Mommy, I howl for you!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Howling Lovers…Well, today I had to go out and get a few of Chaps prescriptions filled. Grandma babysat and took a few video clips from her IPhone. There are 5 clips. I love them! They are all each about 15 seconds long.
I wanted to add them all to one YouTube video but I was having trouble. This is all a bit new to us working with these IPhone video clips but we love them.
Why he was howl crying for me with his Grandma right by is side is kind of a mystery.
Here he is with his Grandma years ago. Just darling….I wonder if himz is spoiled?
He was probably just used to me never leaving his side for about 7 days now.
The stitches will come out a week from today.

PS – I stopped and bought him some Belgium Butter Cookies on my way home…hehehe

spoiled? nah! he was just making sure you got the notice about the cookies. ya know a spoonful of sugar helps the meds go down but a couple of butter cookies really works oh so much better!
That is the saddest and funniest thing I have ever seen! Himz is so spoiled! What will you ever do if you need to be away for any reason????
Oh my gosh – that was so touching. Chaps really is looking good now and this just shows how much he loves and misses his mommy. I am so glad that he is well on the road to recovery. He will be his old self soon. How did he like the Frosty Paws? You never did a review on this!!
Oh what a sad howl….. Himz was missing his mama! Glad to see him still doing well. 7 days & counting!!!!
JBandA – I will do a blog on frosty paws soon. I actually forgot to do that. Thanks for reminding me….
SK – I think he will be fine after he recovers. We left him after Emma passed a few days later for a few hours. We really wanted to get him back to our normal schedule. He did great. That is why today was kind of odd for him. Maybe it was just the stitches.
Lois – OMDawg he loves those Butter Cookies. They look like flat ice cream cones. They are the Kroger brand called Belgium Butter Cookies. They are really tasty. I just break them into 4 little pieces and when he took them he shuttered. It was soooooooo cute.
ACandA – yes, 7 more healing days. His stitches look really good. I give himz an Aplus in healing.
I think Mayor Chaps feels a little threatened when you leave. I think he feels he’s not going to be as indulged and pampered if you’re not there.
RATS! I cannot access these videos.
MandS – OMDawg – his grandma indulges him and pampers him just as much as I do that is why this was so strange. Very strange. Anyway, I am so sorry you cannot see the clips. Rats…indeed!
Well here is one more theory; perhaps you have taken Emma’s place and he doesn’t want to part with you no matter what. We had that experience with our little girl when she lost her mate she had grown up with. She would sit at the door for hours and she had the most mournful bay thus we opted to get another little boy for her and yes, she quit looking for the other one.
I finally got the download for quicktime to install, and these are the cutest clips! He is looking a lot better! Mine used to howl for me when I worked long hours too, but Chaps is still recuperating so he must want a full staff on hand! LOL You are both doing a wonderful job nursing him back to health. Any results on the lab work yet?
Debbie – no results yet. Still waiting. I think maybe tomorrow we will hear. His doctor said that he had no idea what it was so that was kind of strange. I am sure it is fine. The Mayor is one of a kind you know. I totally agree that the Mayor like a full staff on had at all times. He just went for his afternoon stroll out back with his Grandma. We like to get his organs moving. He went up on the hill and sniffed around and then came back in and laid in front of the AC. We are firmly into day 5 of healing and all is looking good! Thank goodness the Olympic was on this week. It really came in handy as we were convalescing.
