Say What?
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Say What Lovers….
Chaps and I are a bit discombobulated today because we did not have very good sleep. Chaps was restless with his jolting episodes. We just cannot figure it out. He jolts like there is a sharp quick fast pain. He never yelps. Have any of you ever experienced this type of behaviour ?
So confusing….
I thought my favorite note pad was apropos for this morning’s blog….
Too funny!
Well, it is a beautiful day in bassethoundtown. Nice and cool. Grandma and I call it “Dog weather”. We are all going to go and get the stink blown off.
Have a great day and let me know if you have ever experienced what I call, jolting episodes.
More loving cute note pads later….Cat, Chaps and Emma ATB
No, can’t say we’ve experienced that here. Hmmm, I hope it doesn’t continue.
It’s hot, hot, hot here. Too hot to get out so we’re all stuck in the study until Daddy gets the floors mopped.
Have a good day blowing off the stink – we did that today too. We were at the park this morning after a vet visit but you were not there. Hope Chaps has a better night tonight!!
I have your note pad as a magnet! I love that one. My Zeke used to do this and I always thought it was bad dreams. Zeke was a boy and Chaps is, maybe it’s a guy thing!? Hope if it is , Chaps has happier dreams tonight. It can be quite alarming when all is tranquil and they suddenly jolt up like that. Zeke never yelped either. It was more like …”I was asleep, but I’m back on the job!” Have fun today, the weather here has been cool and breezy too, I love it.
Love the note pad. Hugs and Kisses for Our Mayor.
I think this jolt maybe some stiffness with his arthritis. I feel that way when I turn in bed. My right knee has a touch of arthritis.
Could it have something to do with the accupuncture sessions he’s been having?
Maybe a needle touched a nerve, and it feels like it does when you bump your elbow just right. I used to call it my funny bone!! It didn’t hurt, it was more like a little “zap”!!
Karen it could be that. I am going to talk to Dr. Leick about that. Maybe it is his funny bone. Thanks for the suggestion. Very interesting.
