Sunday Morning Mayor…

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Sunday Morning Mayor Lovers….

Grandma sent me this picture this morning.

photo

The Mayor had just finished his breakfast and the Sun was hitting the disco ball and chandelier just right!

Julian and I were over at his house doing homework and tending to RoRo and Enzo.

It is a totally stunning and gorgeous morning in Cincinnati.

I bet the REDS thought so as well.

“The Reds clinched the National League Central on Saturday with a 6-0 victory against the Los Angeles Dodgers before a sellout crowd of 41,117 at Great American Ball Park. It was only the club’s 15th first-place finish in the long history of the franchise.”

Back in bassethoundtown….The Mayor was not really impressed.

This makes him much more happy! Clinching his victory of love!

More looking forward to more later….Cat, Chaps and Emma ATB and greatly missed.

What is the piece of furniture in front of Romeo? (has he stopped growing yet?).

Love the sparkling morning picture with the Mayor – thanks Grandma for capturing the special moment.

Beautiful pics. Sadly, the Cincy Bengals just gave our Redskins a beating. Hopefully the Mayor is just as indifferent to this development.

That piece is the most dramatic bench I have ever seen in my life. Just jaw dropping. Yes, he has stopped growing but not stopped being a big baby!

BGN&S – The Mayor was rooting for the Redskins. He feels a kinship to a team that celebrates the beauty of his red coat because orange is not his signature color. Welcome to the jungle? He thinks not!

It is a stunning piece of furniture (I like the table and chairs too). If Romeo is a “baby”, he would have to be a BIG one.

Always love pictures of the Mayor.

Julian is not so much a little boy anymore … he looks so tall!

OM – I wish you could see the porch. So many other cool details as well. That greenery behind the table and chairs is all bamboo. I adore it. The way the sun shines through it is magic. I took a young root today and I am going to try and plant it in my back yard. Bamboo is tricky so I have to read up on it.

RoRo is such a baby but a smart one. I noticed when all is still in the house the cat, Casper will come out and give him a back massage. He walks on his back and it looks like he is kneeding. Really odd.

I wonder how much the cat charges for a massage? 🙂

Every place you go Cathy there are always such beautiful things to appreciate.

The Mayor looks like he’s part of a dream, and the Mayor is star of the dream.

I can’t get over how your nephew, Julian has grown.

Beautiful pics!! Love how the sun reflects off your disco ball & chandelier. The porch is a beautiful outdoor place!! It is good to see the Mayor doing better. My granddog is almost the size of Romeo. He is almost 2 now & such a big baby too. So gentle. My grandson reads to him & he just lays there.

If you’re not careful, bamboo can take over your whole yard!! It is VERY invasive. If I were you I’d plant it in a LARGE pot, and then sink the whole pot in the ground. Then you can keep your eye on it. Just plant it where you would want to keep it. You don’t want to keep moving it around after you sink it in the ground. When you see shoots coming up in the pot, just pot them and do it all over again. Just an old plastic pot will do. You won’t even see it!! Hope this helps! 🙂

Yes, Karen I totally agree with you. I planted my one shoot in a contained area. I do love the pot idea. I am going to try that as well. Thanks so much Karen! I really appreciate it.
