Well, it was a real barn burner, nail biter, and a furious fight til the end but our very own Bumper won a month in the Sr. Hounds Abound 2013 Calendar!

Our very own Bumper and resident of Bassethoundtown won a month and will be featured in the bassetabulous 2013 Sr. Hounds Abound Calendar.
He could have never done it without all of our votes!
I can speak from experience that the final hours of this contest are worthy of a blood pressure pill! Judy (Bumper’s Mom) and I texted for about 2 hours as we monitored the votes.
Both Bumper and Chaps were sleeping hard through the whole thing.
Judy woke him up for a congratulatory cookie!

Congratulations to Bumper! A fine looking group of hounds for 2013. Hannah loves turning her Senior Hounds Abound calendar each month and checking it each day for what animal is featured (she still questions why cats are allowed on the days).
Bumper will make a fine addition to the 2013 calendar (3 years in a row that we will be at least virtually acquainted with a featured basset). 🙂
