Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and WOW lovers…
Today I was working on sending the memorial checks in honor of Mayor Chaps to House of Puddles and Sr. Hounds Abound. I printed out 2 Cherry Chaps photos and did a cool laminating job on them. I was working on that when One Mom e-mailed me and said we had another donation!
100.00 dollars! Can you imaging that? So I was able to write each check for 300.00 a piece!
The roses are ones that Grandma dried for Chaps ashes box. I love them.
So…Grandma and I diligently drove to the PO to mail the honorable Mayor’s memorial donations.
Howl proud we all must be!
More loving a great town later…Cat, (Chaps and Emma ATB) loving all the senior hounds they are helping.

OK, I am in tears again. He was such a beautiful boy. We are honored to
receive such a generous donation in Chaps’ memory.
I will treasure the photo of him, more than you will know. His eyes have
always just touched me.
I know the emptiness of him not being there to love on, sometimes feels
like your heart is being ripped out.

I know people who would envy such a beautiful and thoughtful memorial. It just shows how Chaps touched so many lives.
