Through the eyes of a laced eared pup…

January 17th, 2013 - 11:11 am KY Time

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Daisy Lynn Lovers…First off I will be telling Daisy Lynn’s story very soon.  Probably later today.

But for now.  I want to quickly add some more pictures and report on our very own Daisy Lynn’s first night.

Well…she slept thought the night in the Mayor’s storm cage.  Not a peep out of her.  We got up early and right out to the ladies room.  Good girl!

Then we had her normal breakfast and she ate it with vigor!

Get this!  She learned howl to use a dog door the second I showed it to her.  She is ready to explore the back yard!  So I got Lily’s old orange harness and it fit her perfect.  She is really smart.

More pictures of the backyard later…

For now it is puppy nap time!

I cannot thank my rainbow bridge hounds enough for sending Daisy Lynn to us.  I really needed to fill my soul back up.  I look at each new hound in my life as a teacher and I sure am ready to see the world through the eyes of a laced eared pup.

Wanna join us?

More staying tuned later…Cat, Daisy Lynn, (Chaps and Emma ATB) saying,
“you are welcome Mommy”

This is sooo exciting and sooo much FUN!!! Yes, Chaps and Emma did a fabulous job sending you Daisy Lynn. I just love your attitude about how each hound is your life teacher. What a gift they are for sure. I’ll be checking in often to hear her story!

By the way, what’s up with the 5 little pieces of kibble on the floor? Rugs puts a few of his pieces on the floor too but that’s because Harriet finishes her food before Rugs does and tries to steal his food. He lays that out there to keep her occupied so he can finish. Or, that’s all I can figure anyway. They are so funny.

She looks like she shows quite a bit of promise, and I sense she is very deep and sensitive.

As usual, the tears are just flowing down from my face. I am so happy for you and Daisy Lynn. Well, what can I say, but she is about the prettiest thing I have ever seen. Althought, I do have to say, I am a little jealous. I have not found a hound yet, but when the time is right I guess it will happen. Thank you so much for sharing Dasiy Lynn with all of us. Daisy Lynn you are a very lucky little girl. You alreday have my vote. You stole my heart the minute that I saw you.

    Cat,

I really don’t think Daisy Lynn needed a super pac to get elected to be our new BHT Mayor. She seems to be getting unanimous approval. I love that lace ear. Happy days again for the residents of BHT. Especially Cat and Grandma.

    This is really great news.

We are so happy for you and Daisy Lynn. I know Chaps and Emma sent her to you.
Our Miss Tee did this for use when we found Riley.
Cannot wait to hear more love stories.

So happy to see more pictures of Daisy. Can’t wait to hear her story.

Oh, regarding the vote, LuLu (our cat) votes for Daisy … she refuses to claim that hairless creature as one of her relatives.

Nell and Sophie vote for Daisy too, so that’s 12 paws from here.

It looks like Daisy is settling in real well. You are so fortunate to have found her and she is so lucky that you did. I cannot wait to hear the full story on how you found our beautiful little girl. I am so very happy for you and grandma and am sure that Chaps and Emma are glad that you are happy again. Hugs to all of you!! ☺
