Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and New Candidate for Mayor Lovers…

I am so very, very sorry it took so long to update this post but as I said earlier, the applicant/candidate for Mayor of bassethoundtown had some travel delays and we actually just got home.

Please meet, Daisy Lynn Rudert.

She has a pretty short resume for the position because she is only a young pup of almost 6 months.

She will lay out her bid for Mayor in the coming days and if she is elected her inauguration will be on Monday.

Of course, I am voting yes but I know this is a town with many different residents who all have a voice.

She does have a small super pac and will show commercials showing off her patty to try and persuade those of you swing voters who are on the fence…

I must report, in all fairness, that another candidate kept vying for the position of Mayor with the platform that we should switch the name of the town to:

hairlesscattown.com

His name is Damien.

Poor thing just seems like a bad Omen to me;

More updates and super pac pics later….Love, Cat, Daisy, (Chaps and Emma ATB) not loving the hairless cat…hehehe

Is there early voting? With tears in my eyes I am voting a resounding YES! Oh, she is so very beautiful. I was thinking this morning “I wonder what name the new Mayor will have” … and then I thought “oh, Cat will have the perfect name”. Daisy Lynn is a great name.

It’s only 5:30am, but I’m tempted to get Hannah up!

    YES!

Welcome new Mayor Daisy Lynn! You are one lucky Basset girl-
I think your nickname should be “Phantom”-as in Phantom of the Opera-because of the mask on your beautiful face.

    I vote yes!She’s in!

Love her name “Daisy Lynn” and she lookes just like a Southern Bell out of a Fairy Book. As for voting, well she will have our vote for sure – FOUR PAWS UP!!!

I have a couple of reservations and questions.

Where did Daisy Lynn come from?
    What are her qualifications?
    I do welcome fresh ideas.
Where does she stand on the issues I mentioned in the previous blog?
How does she feel about her opponents qualifications?
How could a cat even be considered for the Mayor of Basset Hound Town??? I consider myself liberal, but really a cat for Mayor, and I am not prejudice!!!
I suspect Damien has evil criminal connections and a dubious background.

What do the other residents think???

I vote No to the heck on the cat thing. But Bailey and I vote a big YES for Daisy. If she has your vote, she has our vote.

I am so glad Chaps and Emma sent her to you. She is beautiful!!!

Daisy has that famous Basset look, I love so much. She is going to be a little spit fire, see first picture. Daisy is beautiful and her laced ears make her stunning. Happy Gotcha Day Daisy. You are a very lucky little Diva.

My hounds have voiced their opinion. They say they are not voting for some ugly hairless cat that wants to change the name of our most famous town. The nerve!

    Daisy Lynn WILL WIN!

We already love you pretty girl.
