Off to get a name tag for our Daisy Lynn!

January 20th, 2013 - 12:12 am KY Time

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and name tag lovers…Today, Grandma and I wanted to get Daisy Lynn a new name tag and practice riding in the basset hauling vehicle.  We had so much fun!

Here she comes!

Grandma sat in the back seat to show Daisy Lynn where to sit, stay and be safe.  Being a young pup she was more interested in looking out the window.  Grandma had a firm grip on her.

OMDawg – she was the hit of Petsmart and marched through there like a Queen!  She was so good and had so much fun greeting her public.  hehehe

First order of business – new tag.  The back has all of her information.  She had on Emma’s puppy collar.  it was so cute.

After meeting about 10 dogs and 20 kids we rested in the cat food area.  Whew…I was more worn out than her!

But she did crash in the car on the way home…

When we got home she ate her dinner and crawled into bed…

Name tag accomplished…Daisy Lynn Rudert!

More having a fun filled day later….Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB) howling, sleep sweet Daisy Lynn!

She is soooo cute!! I love how she got her name too. I love the pics(in yur previous entry) of her looking inside from the door & her looking at grandma. You can tell she loves to shop too. LOL!! Looking forward to hearing about more adventures.

Oh, and one more thing. That pretty lace ear looked like she had dragged it through a coal mine. It was black after we left petsmart. I cleaned her face and body when we got home and the white rag was black!

She is just adorable and sounds like she already has the royalty attitude she will need to be our next mayor. I love her ear.

What fun to read of your great Pet Smart adventure with Daisy. You could see the blur of her tail wagging in the store. (Love her pink jacket by the way).

I wondered when we would get a picture of the “other end” of Daisy! Nothing sweeter than “flat basset”.

I love the way she lays with her legs behind her. She was very beautiful in her jacket, collar and leash. All bright happy colors! Very fitting.

We are excited that our late Mayor Chaps Wayne Rudert has endorsed her to be Mayor of Basset Hound Town. The Doyle hounds would like to endorse her too.

Her name is official the new tag makes it so.

I still have a few reservations regarding her as our new Mayor. Daisy Lynn looks like she can be a bit of a radical. Do you plan to take her to schools for the reading of the Lily Book? I think she will be wonderful with children.
