A picture heavy post of Mayor Daisy Lynn’s first walk to the park!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and documenting Mayor Daisy Lynn. I kind of feel like this blog has turned into a baby book! Well, maybe it is! A baby Mayor has so many firsts and today was her first walk to the park. We were all so excited!
Let’s get moving on this beautiful 65 degree windy day.
First we look to the left….
And then to the right!
No walk to the park would be complete without a stop at the favorite telephone pole.
Daisy Lynn did pretty good on the leash.
Let me say, we all got a lot of exercise!
Then we ran into Judy and Rick – residents of basset hound town – Mom and Dad to Bumper and Abby!
Then we got not only one, but two money shots! Actually, we got about twenty but these were the best!
Can you even believe howl cute she is? I know, I know…all Moms think their hound is the cutest! hehehe
Time to go home now little pooped pup…Yes, Mama is right behind you…
One last burst of energy. Look, both back paws are in mid air!
Did I say, pooped pup?
So many more adventures are in store…
More baby book entries later…Love, Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB) knowing that the favorite telephone pole holds all the memories…
I had to add another picture. Keep in mind that is March and the day was windy! hehehe
Daisy Lynn is adorable and a real licker! It was great to see her today – first of many walks in our park. Really a picture perfect day for March after 4 inches of snow last week. Can’t wait for spring to stay.
How cute she is!!! I love the way she lays “spread eagle” when she’s all pooped out!!!
The camera loves Bassets more than any other breed.
Sorry if this is a duplicate comment but my comment I was typing disappeared.
Daisy Lynn is very cute! Looks like everybody got some good exercise on that excursion. Lets go again!
Perhaps a good hearty walk a couple times a day will keep the young mayor off the furniture?
(Nell has to go to the vet tomorrow – she’s not feeling well … does the mayor have any drool to spare?)
OM – what is wrong with Neil? Is she under the weather? Please tell us. Massive drool coming her way. She is my favorite match maker of all times….
Hi Cat – I’m not sure. To put it in human terms, she seems depressed – really dragging. Just thought the vet should see her. Maybe she’s just tired of all the snow and ice (I know I am). She is 13 1/2 now – I love our chocolate dog.
Matchmaker! Love that. Her appointment is at 9:15am – Hannah and my husband will take her. I miss our vet from down state though … she was the best.
