Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Patty Lovers.  I had to share this cute patty picture of our Daisy Lynn.  She adores her belly rubs and this is a sight Grandma and I see very often!

She is such a good little smart puppy.

More showing off later…Love, Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB) getting lots and lots of belly rubs….

*Heart melts* Is there anything dearer than a Basset patty? Sometimes I rub a little Lady Monkey Butt Powder onto Nosey’s patty. Her vet approved and it makes her smell fresh as a daisy!!!!!! I put a little under her arms as well…

    More Basset beauty tips later…

I’m sure the residents always welcome a puppy patty picture. Looks like her hair hasn’t quite grown back from the surgery. Beautiful patty!!!

Daisy is certainly a long pup isn’t she?

Marsie – what is this powder you mentioned? Sophie could use a little something under her legs as well. Now that she is 5, she is really developing into a very saggy skin basset hound … I’ve never had one quite this saggy before. 🙂

OM – I just googled it, Lady Anti Monkey Butt – anti friction powder. I know Daisy Lynn would lick it right off so make sure you know what is in it. I am assuming that Nosey does not lick it off? Marsie?

I know it’s not fair to compare Bassets, but I think Emma’s patty was softer looking.

I’ll have to look into that powder.

Nosey does not lick it off… I watch to make sure.
I took the canister to the vet’s office and they checked the ingredients and said that it was fine if I used it, there was nothing in it that would be harmful. As with anything else, if she showed an undue interest in it and was licking, I’d stop immediately. It does work, though. I don’t use it every day…just a few times a week if that. I bought it at the ACE Hardware on Ludlow in Clifton.

P.S. My advice is to never use anything on your pet unless you ask your personal vet first. Every animal is different!
