Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Soaking up the Sun Lovers…I took this picture only seconds ago and I had to share.
It is a wonderful 55 degrees but it feels oh so good to a little girl wearing a fur coat!

She looks sooooo relaxed!!! and of course adorable as always. Colby Chaps did not soak up the sun today…..instead they waited till the sun went down and with the help of sister Abby they caught a baby opposum. It looked dead, but of course it was just ‘playin dead’ because when I picked it up by the tail it came to life! They were real proud of themselves. I would prefer them ‘soakin up the sun’ …..instead of ‘soakin up the moon’.

Yes, it was the Shimlettes 9th birthday. It was a bit too sad for me….but her and I had a long chat like we do everyday.
