Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Walking Club Lovers…Judy and I had so much fun today delivering the fliers all over town!

We started off at the dog park.

I posted a flier in a zip lock bag next to the gate!

(Marsie, will you post one at your dog park and your Vet office?)

Then we found Doodle sunning in his front yard as we delivered our next flier!

He is shouting – “Come to the walk all basset hounds!”

Oh…I love this guy!

We delivered a bunch more fliers….

Then Judy and I had a delicious lunch at a neighborhood grill and then I got to love on her hounds Bumper and Abby!

Grandma was babysitting our young Mayor.   When I got home I wanted to show off Chaps memorial bench under Emma’s cherry tree.

One more, OK?

I had to have some cherry blossoms fall on us for good luck.

I just want to thank all of the residents for Chaps bench.  I look at it every day and I adore it.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Spring Walking Club Lovers….Today I am meeting with my co-hostess and bassethoundtown resident, Judy Alessandro of Bumper and Abby to deliver a few fliers regarding our new Walking Club event!

I will be tweeting a few updates along the way so stay posted!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and missing our kids lovers.  I actually believe that Daisy Lynn feels at home in our neighborhood park because she recognizes the smells.

Chaps, Emma, Grandma and I lived in this park with the kids.

I know they are with us.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Big Day Lovers…Today was Puppy Daisy Lynn’s first time to visit Dr. Leick.  If you recall, Dr. Leick is a holistic vet that does chiropractic and acupuncture techniques.  Chaps and Emma benefited greatly.

Most of his patients are elderly or injured as you can imagine.  I decided to take Mayor Daisy as a young pup so Dr. Leick can feel her and she can get used to his techniques.  Puppies can really play hard and I had a huge list of questions.

Daisy Lynn met a very nice boy Bichon named Max in the lobby.

So then we went back to the examination room.  Daisy Lynn did really good for a young pup!

Dr. Leick said he felt she had a few tiny alignment issues but she was in great shape over all.

With her extra long back we want to make sure she is watched carefully.  Dr. Leick agreed that keeping her off the furniture will only help her in the long run.  She has never been on it so she will never miss it when she get old.  (OMDawg, I cannot even imagine Daisy Lynn old)…

We took a quick walk in the park and then home to Verna or one of her babies taking a bath!

Then the e-mail alert came!  Thunderstorm watch!  Would this be our first real storm?

Yes!

Daisy Lynn was not scared just curious!

What a huge and wonderful way to end the day.  I know that one storm is not the end all to a phobic hound but by George it is a great start!

I was calling her litter Thunder Heart!  A nick name Julian, my nephew gave Chaps about 7 years ago.  It just jumped out of my mouth.

See the Thunder bolt and the heart?

I think the late Mayor was with us.  I am sure there is no fear over the rainbow bridge.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Pink Magnolia Lovers.  Today we took Baby Gerber Daisy to the Boone County Arboretum.

The last time we visited we were with Chaps and Emma and got lost! 

The walking paths are so confusing and today was no different.  We almost got lost again!

The day started with a delicious picnic and Daisy was so excited!

The Arboretum was showcasing the Pink Magnolias which were in full bloom.

Pink Magnolias were at their peak in Northern KY today and we were all excited to be a part of that!

Daisy Lynn was in her glory.  Can you imagine a puppy seeing all of this for the first time?

Look at her smile.  So sweet!

And the smiling continued under the blush magnolia!

The puppy was pleased…

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Little Pitcher Lovers…

A very dear friend of mine, Richie Churchill of the famous Bugler (The Basset Hound Magazine) sent Daisy Lynn and I a little gift package!

We adore these items.  One is a Little Pitcher and the other is a Fred Basset Comic Book!

I had the perfect flowers for the Little Pitcher, some dried roses from Chaps memorial arrangement.

The little basset on the little pitcher even looks like the late Mayor…

So I placed it in his favorite room, the kitchen!

Thank you Richie… it really means a lot to us…

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Spring Screen Lovers…

Today I put up the office screen to let some fresh air in.  I was wondering what Baby Gerber would think about it!

It took all of a few seconds for her to figure it out!

“Mommy, this is fun!”

Freedom is such a fun thing.  Even though she has a dog door, I have had the gate up until I got the back yard cleaned up of all sticks and such.

Now she has full run of the patio, but not the hillside yet.

Looks like we have a sunbather!

More new puppy adventures later…Love Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB) knowing there are plenty of scents on the pavers….

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Grandma lovers…I had ADT security coming over today to update my system so Mayor Daisy Lynn had a fun day with her Grandma.

“I get the spend the whole day with my Grandma?”

“This is going to be fun but I have a question, why won’t this puppy play with me?”

“Grandma made lunch for both of us.  I had special treats and then watched her eat under this pawsome glass top table.  Now this is livin’ large for a young pup like me!”

“Then it was time for Grandma to put me down for my afternoon nap…

She turned on some light jazz for me and the song was perfect (make someone happy). 

It was really soothing…”

“Then the man with the drill had to start up…ugh…

But that was shorted lived and I crawled into bed and took my nap….so comfy….”

“Then I heard Mommy coming up the stairs to get me…”

“Mommy who?  hehehe”

Moving loving jazzy spring days with my Grandma.  Love, Baby Daisy Lynn and (Chaps and Emma ATB) knowing exactly what she means….

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Spring Flower Lovers…Today Grandma, Daisy Lynn and I ventured out to greet the Spring Daffodils!  We love this Ohio State Park and could not wait to shake the cold weather off.

I decided to put Daisy in her grass green outfit!

Of course, I had to match!

Here is a short clip of Daisy Lynn walking over a mini foot bridge…

Her ears dragged over 3 miles of Woodland Mound Park.

Then she made some new fans….

They both were barefoot and told me that they could not wait to feel the grass in their toes.

Daisy Lynn felt the same way!

We had fun enjoying the Daffodils…

And eating them!  hehehe
