Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Colby Chaps getting a month on the Sr. Hounds Abound Calendar lovers…Well today is the last day to vote and it appears that victory for a month on the 2014 calendar is pretty much out of reach.
Voting ends tonight at 9:00pm Florida time.

You can go and look at the tally for each hound and they are really high.
There were some really, really aggressive pushing for some of the hounds on facebook and it looks like it paid off. This is going to be a really good year for Sr. Hounds Abound with this tried and true fundraiser.
I guess I won’t throw in the town towel until tonight after 9pm.

Again, thank you to all who voted for my grand-hound. All of those dollars go to help the elders at Sr. Hounds Abound so they definitely will not go to waste.

Bumper and Abby sent their votes in for Colby Chaps today and we are really hoping he gets a month. We also ordered a calendar to support senior hounds just like us! We have all paws crossed tonight.

You all just have brought me to my knees with the generosity of each of you and your friends who support your hounds. Why this years’ contest has raised so much more than last year, I do not know. I do know, I am very humbled that each of you have helped and to see what your efforts have accomplished. I am in tears as I write this.

Wow, the shuffling of hounds the last hour was mind boggling. I have double checked everything, and made sure I did not skip any votes, so this is how it stands.
The cover will be pulled randomly from one of the 23 who did not get a place. It will be announced in a few days. I need to catch my breath!
I am working on an idea to have the remaining hounds displayed a bit differently in the calendar this year. Have to iron out a few details, but I do hope it will make everyone happy, despite me not figuring out how to make everyone a month hound.
I am grateful to you all, I am blessed, I am tired.

Dear Mary – Larsen is one of the most handsome hounds in the world. I adore himz. Both Colby Chaps and Larsen tried hard! At least we pumped up the donations to SHA! I was just showing my Mom Larsen’s picture today and we were both melting with love. What a juice box!
I am so disappointed. Oh well, the Doyle hounds sent their votes and I know the senior hounds really appreciate it.

Yes, any and all donations will help the elders at Sr. Hounds Abound. I adore the calendar. I keep all of mine and hope to some day make art work of all of the pages like I did with Chaps and Emma’s months. I take them to Staples with a coupon and have them mounted on board and laminated. It would be a darling boarder in any room in the house. Just and FYI! Thanks again residents…

I think I might steal your idea and have Scully’s calendar month mounted. That particular calendar is still hanging on our wall, from like 4 or 5 years ago!
