Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and portrait lovers…Well, this really put a huge smile on my face tonight. I opened an e-mail from Hannah’s Mommy, (OneMom) and got this!
Hannah I cannot thank you enough for this touching tribute to our wonderful and beloved Chaps. I know howl much you love him and I know you have his picture on your desk.
Chaps loved getting his picture taken with pumpkins and now he is in one. He would have adored this picture from you!

Mayor Chaps and sweet Emma will always have a special part in Hannah’s heart (and mine). I had seen the birthday post earlier today, but we were busy with vet appointments for Mabel and Sophie and other things so I hadn’t shown Hannah the Chaps post. When she brought me the Chaps pumpkin design, my heart skipped a beat and I started to cry. I knew I had to send it to you … we love you!
Oh and yes, Chaps’ picture is on her desk in her classroom – she calls him the “Superintendent of Hannah-bear Elementary School”. 🙂
How touching! My eyes are watering as I write. Hannah drew such a good picture of Mayor Chaps. What a sweet thing to do.
