Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and remembering the late Mayor lovers…I know I remember himz everyday…well many times every day.
I had to share this pictures Grandma and I took last year.
I was laughing because I did not notice Grandma’s hand before now…hehehe
He was the best boy in the world of baby boy hounds, at least in my world…
More loving Chaps later (every second), Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB sending Mommy rainbow slobber;)
Thanks for sharing a beautiful photo of Chaps & also for sharing your thoughts & memories of him. I often will talk of my other dogs that are at the Rainbow Bridge. I loved them all & miss them.
Chaps was a beautiful baby boy and I can certainly understand you thinking about him everyday. We always think about those who have left us too soon and we are very fortunate to have fond memories of them.
Chaps was so incredibly handsome, what a beautiful soul. I know you miss him and Emma every day. Our hounds all hold special places in our hearts.
Chaps is looking at Grandma’s hand telling him to stay. And it looks like he’s being a good boy and doing just that. He was a very handsome hound. We will always remember the first mayor of Basset Hound Town.
Cat,
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it when you share all these wonderful photos.
Hannah was snuggling in with me and asked to see Mayor Daisy Lynn. We scrolled down and saw the photo of Chaps. She went into her “Mayor Chaps” voice …. (it’s deep and dignified) “Hello, I know you miss me, but I’m fine and taking care of all the residents here at Basset Hound Town in the sky. We’re all fine and love you. Slurp.”
Oh, Hannah that is so very sweet and comforting. I know that the late Mayor would be so proud of you and so are the residents! We love you darling…Cat and Daisy Lynn
