Do any of the residents get the Science Channel?
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Science Channel Lovers…I kept seeing this commercial for a show called Futurescape on the Science Channel. So, I went and found it On Demand. I watched 3 episodes of it last night and I think you can watch it on line. Just go to that link.
Wild stuff that make you really think about the “near future”.
For example, instead of smart phones there will be smart children with chips placed in their necks at birth if the parents choose to do so. Another example, we will all have the option to install GPS in our brains!
What about smart hounds? No mention was made of that in the first 3 episodes but even if there was a chip I like Daisy Lynn just the way she is! hehehe
Curious….
Enchanted…
Wheels turning…
Optimistic…
Learning through discovery…
There is no chip in the world for that…
(Don’t get me wrong…if there was a potty training chip I would have sprung for that;)
Love, Cat, Daisy Lynn, (Chaps and Emma ATB discovering the future on their own)
Ah, yes…the elusive potty training chip. Let’s come up with one and we’ll use all the money to rescue all of the lost and lonely animals of the world. Sound like a plan? xoxo
We probably do have the science channel but never watch it. Putting chips in a child? Lets hope it doesn’t come to that.
Our Mayor is still in diapers!? Oh man, we have to fix that.
Jethro says – A good treat every time he does his business would work for him.
Oz says – A big hug and kiss every time he does his business would work for him.
Harriet says – She wants it all!
So there ya have it. The ladies want a treat and hugs and kisses and praises. I’m sure Daisy Lynn will catch on soon.
Cindy – the Mayor is doing really good with her potty training. She is 99% there but on a rare occasion she makes a mistake and it is always right by the doggie door. Very strange. I can’t put my paw on it.
What an adorable girl admiring your beautiful
poinsettia. Two days after I got mine I came
home to find the plant and dirt all over the
hall. Obviously, her illness is not bothering
her mischieviness, at least she does not tp the
place anymore.
Here is to loving our great Basset Hounds.
Let’s hope they don’t ever put chips in people. Maybe Daisy Lynn doesn’t like going out the doggie door when it is too cold out or raining or if she is frightened by something. It is really hard to say. When I trained Ollie he did really good especially once I picked up all my throw rugs. He thought they were his to piddle on. So I didn’t have them down for a couple of months. He has never mind going out in the cold, snow, wind or storms.
Oh- I meant to say he also gets a very small treat every time he goes outside to potty too. He will wait till you give it to him. If I forget he will let me know with a bark.
Monnie – so glad to hear that Lily is being so mischievous hehehe – That means she feels good. Our girl is still as sassy as ever!
SANDY – I think you hit the nail on the head. Daisy Lynn does not like to get her paws wet. She also thought that the throw rugs were piddle pads because they used piddle pads at the home she came to me from. So, I have picked them up and things did get much much better but we still have that occasional mistake. The last several times happened when I had company. She was extremely excited with the visitors. That is so funny about Ollie barking for himz treat! hehehe
