Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and June lovers…I do love June.  It is fun seeing June through the eyes of a puppy who has never seen June!  So, we set off on a long and invigorating walk.  It was beautiful in bassethoundtown!

Daisy Lynn pranced like the puppy she is.  We had to stop and smell this tree!

When we got home I found everything in my fridge that I could possibly add to eggs and made this!

Chili olive oil, onions, jalapenos, ham, pepper, broccoli, spinach, cilantro, peas, salsa, chardonnay, butter, cream, cheddar, havarti, onion camembert, french baguette, and last but not least…eggs!

Yes, I had all of this in my fridge…

After it cools I slice it into about 10 pieces, freeze and lunch is served for about 2 weeks!

You can’t have lunch without Daisies;)

OK, here is the absolute fine of June!  We are just one day in but still…When I go to Krogers the first thing I do is look at the on sale flowers.

BINGO…A bunch of daisies for 2.99 – SOLD!

Then, get this…I was rolling through Krogers, thinking….I wish I had a Daisy vase!  Well I guess wishes do come true!  I found that vase on the bargain table, way in the back by the blood pressure chair thing!

My eyes were almost as big as Daisy’s Lynn when I spotted it!

My hand was slightly shaking as I reached for it.  3.99 – Manager’s Special! 

Next stop…blood pressure chair!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Proper Prior Planning Lovers…

OK, here is the plan for the residents of bassethoundtown.  The time will be here before you know it to submit a senior basset to Senior Hounds Abound Calendar Contest.  I have made an executive decision (along with the baby Mayor) and picked Colby Chaps (the late Mayor Chaps son) as our Senior 2014 submission.  This submission will not be sent in until sometime early September but I want to get some feed back.  What picture shall we submit?

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Memory Lovers…Today Grandma and I took the puppy out to make some memories.

First off Daisy Lynn had to play with Grandma! She loves to try and sit up while giving her totally cute face.

OK, time to roll.  I had to take a selfie of Daisy Lynn and I.

We both had on our American Flag bandannas!  Like Mother, like doghter!

As soon as we pulled into Devou Park in Covington, KY I spotted a big boy basset.  I threw it in park and ran down to meet and greet Oscar.  I had to be quick so I took off on my own…Sorry no picture but what a treat for me!

It was a glorious day in the park.  One of the best in KY.  It is up high and the breezes are delicious.

We met a rather plump wiener dog!  Daisy is an in your face kind of gal!

Now this is a Memorial Day picture for the ages with Grandma!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and daisies blooming lovers…What a glorious day it was today in bassethoundtown.  Daisy, Grandma and I set off to view all of the flowers blooming but none were so sweet as in our own front yard!

First off a row of perfectly red roses at the top of our street.

Can you believe howl beautiful?  The smell was heady to say the least!

By that I mean the roses!!!;)

Grandma and Daisy Lynn stopped a few feet away in this secret church garden.

We walked and walked and walked some more until Daisy Lynn collapsed in her own front yard.  You can see the daisies blooming under the weeping blue spruce tree.

But I need to give the residents a better look see!

Delicious, delectable, delightful, divine, and daisylicious….

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Russian pup lovers…Grandma and I are really enjoying trying something new and just having one hound to hover over.

Howl ever – if someone left this little boy pup on my front stoop I would not turn himz away!  His name is Heinaaron Cluedo…

I can’t foresee that happening since himz is a show hound in Russia!  hehehe

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and wishing I was on a walk lovers…Dang it!  My back is aching like all get out and Daisy Lynn and I can’t take our walk.  I guess I will have to settle for watching other hounds walk;)

Speaking of big boys, I had a dream last night that I was sleeping on the couch and Chaps my big boy wandered in and jumped up next to me.  It was so much fun.

Well…here’s hoping I can walk tomorrow because Daisy Lynn lives for it!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Daisy Flower and hound lovers…

This past weekend I took the new baby Mayor on a brisk walk through town.

I stopped and showed her where her Mommy grew up.  This is my childhood home.  I can see the back of it from my current home.  Isn’t that cool?

I loved and still love this home…Looks like Daisy Lynn can feel the positive energy!

My BFF’s brother is an artist and I had him paint it years and years ago.  I might have shared it already but what the heck.  Here it is again….

Then we went off with Grandma to get some spring flowers to plant!

What ever shall we choose?

When we got home to plant, my helper was too tired to help…

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Great American Waddle in MI lovers…I have been once.  I was bassetless at the time.  It was the perfect time to go and be surrounded by my passion, the hounds.  Grandma, Grandpa and I drove up from KY.  My older sister met us their with her kids.  I believe it was in 2004, yes, it was 2004 several months before Grandma and I drove to TX to rescue Chaps and Emma.

Well, the Waddle was this weekend, as many of you know.  Did you see a picture of the Queen?  Her name is Bailey….What a royal highness…I am in love with Bailey

This was howl she was presented to her adoring subjects!

She laid so proud on her pink pillow while everyone took her picture.

All hail the Queen…wish I could have met you Bailey – it would have been worth the drive indeed!
